Good morning Youth Group. Yesterday we decorated the advent giving trees for the St. Vincent DePaul food pantry here at the parish. Right now they are in the baptismal area of the church, when we retrun home from NCYC we will put the trees in place. This is one of three times that we as a group will help out the food pantrey, the other are the Soupper Bowl of Caring on Supper Bowl weekend and the Lenten giving trees. These events are how our youth can help make a differnce in the community. Thank-you to all who helped yesterday.
In just a couple of days now 25 of us will leave on a life changing journey to NCYC . Pray for our safe travel and that all who are on the journey encounter the Risen Christ as never before.We will be leaving on Thursday at 3:00 am and retruning on Sunday at 9:30 pm . We will be posting daily updates on the blog and if I can get it to work a picture or two from thier. So everyone keep checking the blog, but remenber updates will be put on at 11:00 pm .
Our next regular meeting will be on Sunday December 6th at normal times . The cookie bake will be on the 20 th.
